Chambers is excited to announce the upcoming release of our first album, Sigma Flare II.

Sigma Flare II is 100th release on Seattle-based record label DEBACLE, and the follow up to our previous EP (also on Debacle) Sigma Flare I.

The album features four new tracks pulled from the same sessions, written and performed by Gabriel Saloman and Michael Red on unceded coast-salish territory (Vancouver and Roberts Creek, BC) during the period of 2012-2014. Beautifully mastered by Phil Petrocelli at Soultheft Labs in Seattle, and featuring gorgeous design by Daniel Castrejon. This is the final statement of the first phase of Chamber's journey, laying the groundwork for what's to come.

Sigma Flare II will drop on MAY 27, 2016.

Listen to the exclusive premier of second track, 151, on Tiny Mix Tapes.

Pre-orders (digital, vinyl and a specially priced bundle of Sigma Flare I & II) are available from Debacle Records.

Chambers is excited to announce the first of two big releases for 2016: Satellites

Satellites is a document of live sessions from early 2015 featuring meditative explorations of the space ways, ambient cosmic drones and a guest vocal appearance by prOphecy Sun. After a period of post-production these pieces were remastered to epic clarity by Rafael Anton Irisarri, and then compiled in a gorgeous package designed by Bijan Berahimi and released by the brilliant Portland-based record label (and shop) Beacon Sound.

Cassettes can be ordered HERE. Foldover-box packaging by Stumptown Printers using recycled paper. Screenprinting by The Make House. Includes DL code. Edition of 100.

Download can be purchased directly HERE.

it's been a long time coming. chambers debut release on portland's debacle records. the first of two pieces of vinyl - sigma flare 1 is out this friday, oct 2 (sigma flare 2 coming next february). come celebrate, pick up a copy, maybe have drink and take in some sounds from the under ground, under ocean, outer space and in between.

it's a varied cast. starting with deep ambient (scant.intone), into downtempo (surround), leading into heavier beats and drones overhead (chambers), and finishing off with some leftfield techno (derivatives). of course .. all in the context of dub. paying our respects to the foundation with some dusty first-pressing dub records (spiny jim) at the start and end of the night, while navigating the uncharted dub abstractions of the now and next, all thru out the night (..that's chambers, and everyone else in there own particular ways).

this is all happening under the flickering lights of C130, who is set to debut his full length video for chambers the same night and perform further abstractions thru out. check the preview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2jPMEI-Jfs&

michael red (lighta! / low indigo) + gabriel saloman (yellow swans)

SCANT.INTONE (quiet city / panospria)

DERIVATIVES (selector records)

SURROUND (sweet anomaly / the rattle)

SPINY JIM (red gate)
first issue rare dub records

C130 (ian ross)

$10 to $15 cover charge (sliding scale). $20 records.
doors at 10pm

We'd like to extend our gratitude to everyone who helped make our shows at the Rio Theatre and the Emerald a pleasure. A salute to the Eye of the Storm crew for putting together a great bill and all the wonderful people who filled the aisles. Special thanks to Endtask for collaborating with us and providing amazing live visualizations during our set. You can see more of his work here: http://endtask.ca

As well we'd like to raise a glass to prOphecy sun, all the folks who came out on a cold rainy night and the generous staff working at the Emerald.

Both evenings were recorded and we're currently hard at work turning those pieces into a imminent cassette release with Beacon Sound out of Portland, Oregon. We'll let you know when it's ready.

See you soon...
